My Mindfulness practice stumbled a bit over the holidays. And after slumbering through the first week of the new year, I am finally ready to apply myself to re-invigorating my meditation practice. A remarkable event took place at the New York Society for Ethical Culture between September 30 and October 1, 2011. Jon Kabat-Zinn, the creator of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and his long time collaborator, Saki Santorelli, organized an event to explore the penetration of Mindfulness in different societal environments.
