1) MindSpace – Mindful Breathing
Mindful breathing is an excellent introduction to Mindfulness meditation. Follow Dr. Julien Lacaille as he guides through the basics of attention and acceptance training. It takes just 5 minutes and you can do this anywhere, anytime. It’s a great opportunity to relax and take a few minutes to connect with yourself.

2) MindSpace – Body Scan
The body scan is a simple but effective introduction to Mindfulness. In this exercise, you will be asked to pay attention to different parts of your body bringing an open and non-judgemental awareness to the sensations in your body. This exercise offers excellent training in present-moment focus, acceptance, and relaxation.

3) MindSpace – Sitting Meditation
This sitting meditation offers excellent attention training. You will be asked to settle into a comfortable but stable sitting posture and pay attention to different anchors, including breath, body, and sound. It may be difficult to stay focused on each anchor, but that’s ok; each time you catch yourself attending to something else is an excellent opportunity to acknowledge that has happened and come back to your anchor. Just like doing weights in the gym, each rep builds strength and flexibility in your brain’s attentional networks!
