Dr. Julien Lacaille is a psychologist, member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). He has experience working with a diverse adult clientele suffering from worry/anxiety, rumination/depression, and attachment/relationship difficulties. Julien works from the premise that no matter how great your difficulties, there is more right with you than wrong with you. With his compassionate presence and gentle guidance, his aim is to help you get in touch with resources deep inside of you that can help you move toward healing emotional injuries and leading a rich and meaningful life.

Julien obtained his Ph.D. from McGill University and has received clinical training in experiential and emotional processing approaches. In his clinical work, he primarily uses an approach based on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He has also received training in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy both with ketamine and MDMA. He currently only offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). He is a certified facilitator of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) programs.

Julien works with clients who are interested in embarking on a journey of exploring and healing the origins of their difficulties. Working with Julien, you can expect to be fully seen and heard without judgment and with unconditional acceptance. At the same time, you can expect to be guided, in a trauma-sensitive way, in approaching your emotions, and learn to work with these emotions to resolve old maladaptive patterns, become more psychologically flexible, and enjoy what matters most in your life.

Julien offers his services in both English and French.
