Dr. Julien Lacaille is a psychologist, member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ), as well as a mindfulness teacher. He has experience working with a diverse adult clientele suffering from a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and relationship difficulties. Julien works from the premise that no matter how great your difficulties, there is more right with you than wrong with you. With presence and guidance, his aim is to help you get in touch with resources deep inside of you that can help you move toward leading a richer, more satisfying and meaningful life.

Julien obtained his Ph.D. from McGill University and has received training in mindfulness-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and therapies based on emotional processing, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). He is also a certified facilitator of mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

Working with Julien, you can expect to be fully seen and heard without judgment and with unconditional acceptance. At the same time, you can expect to be given tools to build psychological resilience and experience deep emotional transformation. He offers psychotherapy and mindfulness training in both English and French.
