Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program is an 8-week introduction to mindfulness via guided meditation, group dialogue, and home practice. This program is based on the MBSR curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Participants will develop new skills to help manage stress with calm and equanimity, live in the present moment, and appreciate everyday moments of pleasure and joy.
This program meets weekly on Thursday nights eight weeks, following a mandatory orientation session on February 7th, and also includes a full-day meditation retreat on the weekend of the sixth week.
All sessions will be held at the MindSpace Studio Downtown (1470 Peel, Tower B, Suite 725).
