Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week introduction to mindfulness via guided meditation, group dialogue, and home practice. This program is based on the MBSR curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Participants will develop new skills to help manage stress with calm and equanimity, live in the present moment, and appreciate everyday moments of pleasure and joy.
This class is offered in English.
This program meets weekly on Thursday nights for eight weeks following an introductory orientation session, and also includes a full-day meditation retreat the weekend after the sixth session.
