Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week introduction to mindfulness via guided meditation, group dialogue, and home practice. This program is based on the MBSR curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and focuses on the use of mindfulness for managing everyday stressors related to work, health, relationships, and other concerns. This program meets weekly on Monday evenings for eight weeks plus an introductory orientation session for a total of nine weeks. Please note that this program will be offered in English and online.
What to expect when signing-up:
When you click register you’ll be taken to our Mindbody Online site where you’ll be asked to create an account and provide some basic information, and pay a 20% deposit to reserve your spot in the course. Once you’ve completed that process you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a questionnaire to help us ensure you’re a good fit for the program. From there, our team will review your information and be in touch about next steps.
