Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week introduction to mindfulness via guided meditation, group dialogue, and home practice. This program is based on the MBSR curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and focuses on the use of mindfulness for managing everyday stressors related to work, health, relationships, and other concerns. This program is live and meets weekly on Wednesday evenings for eight weeks, plus an orientation session for a total of nine weeks. There will also be a silent retreat TBD.
What to expect when signing-up:
When you click register you’ll be taken to our Mindbody Online site where you’ll be asked to create an account and provide some basic information. Once you’ve completed that process you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a questionnaire to help us ensure you’re a good fit for the program. From there, our team will review your information and be in touch if we have any additional questions.
