The Power of Clarity Retreat is an invitation for developing stillness in the eye of the storm by Mindspace Wellbeing.

As tomorrow’s leaders and professionals, we all wish to live rich, aligned, happy and meaningful lives, focusing on what is important to us and our respective communities. Yet, the Coronavirus pandemic has created a prolonged envelope of uncertainty, where work and personal lives got all tangled up and endured significant changes, and where a visceral need for connection with ourselves and others has gone unmet.

After enduring for a few months this new normal, we noticed through our clients, family and community a noticeable collective strain to return to some form of chosen normalcy. Those ongoing changes allow us to question old ways of doing, and more importantly, of being.

On October 2nd, for a group of 25 people, Bhaskar Goswami and Carl Lemieux are delighted to offer this blending complementary ways of developing mental clarity and well-being for professionals within this climate of ambiguity.

The well researched Acceptance Commitment Training (ACT) framework will guide our learning journey, while weaving in the ancient wisdom of Eastern philosophies and principles of embodied leadership.

This retreat is an invitation to put away all distractions, so we may best explore and experience the clarity that lies within us. Combining the gentle rhythm of mindful movement, experiential teachings and exercises based on cognitive and behavioral sciences, and a nourishing community, our time together in a safe space will be an opportunity to:

  • Explore and deepen our understanding of the latest research in mindfulness, presence and well-being.
  • Discover how to release beliefs and habit patterns that are no longer serving us.
  • Connect to and embody how it feels to move toward those important things in our life #valued living.
  • Learn how it feels to shift away unwanted experiences and develop psychological flexibility.
  • Experience clarity as a practice.

This retreat is a unique opportunity to gather as a small group at the beautiful Tara Center in the Eastern Townships while experiencing:

  • Nature walk
  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Workshops
  • Dialogue Circle
  • Silence
  • Deep rest and sleep
  • Nutritious meals

When seen as a cultivated practice, our felt purpose and related resistances are best understood through self-reflection, mind/body connection, and inspiring company and nature.
