Dr. Joe Flanders is the founder and director of Mindspace and an assistant professor in the McGill University Psychology Department. Dr. Flanders offers Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to individuals, groups, and organizations. Dr. Flanders works with clients in English and in French.
Carl Lemieux is a partner at Mindspace and managing director of Mindspace @ work. Carl offers Mindspace clients cultural transformation services, executive coaching, leadership development, all of which leverage mindfulness as a strategic lever to enhance organizational and human potential. He works with clients in both English and French.
Andrew is the Directory of Programming and Psychedelics at Mindspace, and a mindfulness teacher. Has been practicing meditation since 2002, having studied mainly in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition before becoming interested in the clinical applications of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. In addition to managing Mindspace’s group programming and teaching MBSR, Andrew oversees the Mindspace’s psychedelic program, and sees individual clients for one-on-one mindfulness training and coaching around psychedelic harm reduction and integration.
Cory brings a client-centred approach to the process of intake at Mindspace. As the clinic manager, he welcomes and screens people for psychological and coaching services by being open, non-judgemental, understanding, and compassionate. Cory knows that the process of change is challenging, and it begins with the difficult first step of reaching out for help. He will take you through Mindspace’s intake procedure in an efficient and personalized way, answering your questions and guiding you to a match with one of our team members, based on his clear understanding of their therapeutic offerings, and an in-depth discussion with you to assess your needs.
